What is the Age limit, minimum Education and Identification criteria of your Guards?

SKSS: We enrol Guards between 24 to 45 years. They will have a minimum education of metric. The education of our current team of guards is between metric to graduation. Our Guards are enrolled only after accepting complete documents and police verification.

What is the uniform of guards? Are your guards trained?

SKSS: Uniforms are allotted according to the site/point of duty. We appoint guards only after one month special training by our highly experienced trainer.

What is your schedule for site visits? How many visits are there in a month and by whom?

SKSS: We conduct 4 or 5 visits by permanent supervisor and field officer and one visit in a month by a company authorized person.

Guards don’t reach on time and are seen to leave the point before reliever comes. How do you compensate these irregularities?

SKSS: Our supervisors reach ½ hour early and leave ½ hour later the scheduled duty time. After a shift change both the day and night supervisors leave only after handing over the charge. Our Guards leave the point only after arrival of a reliever. Every duty day the guards are called 10 minutes early for briefing.

Guards misbehave with the staff and harm the property. Sometimes they also support thefts.

SKSS: For this, our guards are specially instructed to respect the company staffs and avoid the personal relationships or friendship with them. This will prevent nuisance, thefts as well as property loss.

We are not able to arrange manpower in case a guard is on leave. What is your action plan for such situations?

SKSS: Our guard applies written leave in company 3 to 5 days before taking leave. Therefore, our company can arrange another guard till then. Replacements are also done by experienced guards only as we have extra availability of guards in emergencies, so we can send the guards immediately to the point.

Due to frequent change of points, guards need training which is not possible every time.

SKSS: We do not change the points of our guards until and unless we receive any complaint about the guard. In case of need to change, the replacement is done only after two day training. So that situations for the company remain normal.

Guards should not be addicted to Intoxicants. If the guard is ever found pissed will be removed same day.

SKSS: We never appoint addict persons as guards. Still if any guard is found with such complaints, is immediately fired.

What will be the action of security if any unknown or anti social person enters the premises? What will Security do in case of any theft in premises?

SKSS: In such a situation, security guard along with supervisor will drive that person out or if needed will inform police and will take necessary action concerting the company. In case of a theft, our security is supposed to first of all register FIR by Company and co operate with police in legal proceedings to catch the thieves.

All the security companies claim that they will appoint guards according to the points. Guards will be experienced, educated and trained with unique dresses. But this does not actually happen after contract.

SKSS: In this context after 3 months of contractual services, if the company is not satisfied can take any legal action.
